When you log in or sign up, we may collect your email address and basic profile information via our authentication provider (Supabase/Google).

b. Integration Credentials

To perform backups, we collect and store:

• Beehiiv API Key: Used to fetch your posts and subscriber data.
• OAuth Tokens: For Google Drive or Dropbox integrations to save your backup files. These tokens are stored securely and used only for the purpose of performing the backups you authorize.

c. Usage Data

We collect basic statistics about your backups (e.g., number of subscribers, number of posts, backup frequency) to display them on your dashboard and monitor service performance.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information for the following purposes:

• To provide and maintain the Service.
• To perform automated daily backups from Beehiiv to your selected cloud storage.
• To display backup statistics on your dashboard.
• To notify you of any issues with your backups.

NewsBackup does not store your actual backup content (posts or subscriber lists). Files are transferred directly between services or processed in memory during the backup process and immediately sent to your chosen storage provider.

4. Third-Party Services

We use third-party service providers to help us provide the Service:

• Supabase: For user authentication and database storage.
• Vercel: For hosting our application and serverless functions.
• Beehiiv API: To access your newsletter data.
• Google Drive / Dropbox API: To store your backup files.

5. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your credentials. Your API keys and OAuth tokens are encrypted at rest. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure.

6. Your Data Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we have about you.
• Delete your account and all associated data at any time via the dashboard.
• Disconnect any third-party integration at any time.
